Day 89: Lots has happened

Wiifit!

Is starting to turn me around! Despite another holiday food binge... blah.


So since last time I weighed in on wed. at 148! So I'm under 150lb.

I've changed my workout plan now that I got the wiifit (as of this past wed.) I hope I stick with it. I definately feel hopefull.

Basically I'm giving up the 100 pushup challenge... I just was always sore and it wasn't heading me towards what I wanted to do. It wasn't balanced enough. But... it did help me out a lot. I went from doing 11 pushups on my knees to 34 straight! And... I can do full pushups! SO I consider it a success.


So I plan to do atleast 30 minutes on the wiifit every other day (doing all ranges of excercises including strength). Then on the odd days I'll do like 15, mostly yoga and cardio. Plus I want to do as many public yoga classes as my schedule allows.

But wiifit is nice becuase it is motivational, fun and makes me sweat! Very cool indeed.

You weight in every day and today I was back up to 150... :( I set my goal of 2 lbs every 2 weeks on the wii fit so still 1 lb a week. So that means I have to be 147lbs by next wed. I think I can still do it. I'll try to be sensible tuesday night at my anniversary dinner......


ANd then I'll be traveling for 4 days! Oi... I'll try to swim in my family's pool though and do some yoga on my own and not go crazy on food.


So yeah... things are back on track! - S

Day 80: doing well

So my diet has been very well lately! Other than a bad day on Monday I've been very balanced.


I didn't really get to work out until Wednesday when I did....

- 30 min of cardio
-day 1 of week 3 of pushup challenge
- 1 minute of the plank
- leg machines
-1 hr of yoga
-dance

Man I'm still sore.....

Yesterday I rested.

Today I plan to do some yogilates and day 2 of week 3 of the pushups. Plus dance!

Not sure if I'll do yoga tommorrow... Probably will try.

Weighed in Wed at 152lb. :/ That's okay. I have to ignore it and continue. I will make progress.

My goal for next week is 150lbs.

Day 75: Where has all the will power gone?

So... I definitely don't want this blog to become proof of another fallen willpower hero.


I have to keep this up because I can't do this now... how will I be when I am still working and have 5 classes?

And now of course it the fear of getting back on the horse... will I be able to perform.


But over the last week I really have missed that sense of activity. And today is another day.


So the past week...

-no yoga :( Missed it due to being out of town.
- didn't get to weight in because I wasn't at the gym
- ate.... ok. A C overall. I'm still hoping to meet my goal of 149 this week mostly but just eating properly. This may be too optimistic. I'll be happy if I manage just to stay at 151lbs.
-Kept up with week 3 of the pushup challenge. I did my first pushup at a party on Friday! This girl from the airforce taught me! I think I still will wait a little bit before restarting the challenge. I'll be doing Day 3 today plus dancing.

Atleast I've been dancing. I'm still sore from Friday. Definately felt a little out of shape.


Plan for the week.

Monday - Yoga at home at night (I work until 8pm :() So who knows if I'll be able to follow through.
Tues - Week 4 day one and some cardio
Wed - yoga/machines/cardio
Thurs - Week 4 day two and some cardio (Yoga in the morning?)
Fri - Dance (yoga in the morning?)
Sat - Yoga and Day three of pushup challenge.
Sun - Dance and rest

We'll see... pretty ambitious but I really need to get my rear in gear.

Breathing properly helps with the pushups. And keeping that tummy tight.

Day 68: start all over

So the last few days have been hectic.... And not that productive excercise wise.

Thursday - ate badly and didn't finish my pushups (decided to do them when I was drunk)
Friday - Danced outside for 3.5 hours..... Ate a A-
Saturday - Dance a little at a wedding.... Ate a D...
Sunday - nothing.... Ate a B...

So as you can see I slowly dissolved into badness. Did no yoga due to general soreness and tiredness and holidayness.

My plan?

Well tommorrow is austin's b-day so I'm guessing even if I eat good all morning I'll be screwed by night. Also no time for fitness other than my pushups (I'm going to repeat week 3).

Tuesday-cardio

Wed - cardio, yoga, pushups (and pray I meat my mark).

We'll plan from there...

Day 64: Calooooooo Ca LLLLAAAYYYY

So yesterday was great fitness wise other than not getting to due cardio due to work overflowing into real life.

I...

- did Yoga and rocked

I had some major break throughs.

1. I can do a back bend (man it feels like I'll snap in two) and lift one leg!
2. I did crow pose for like a second... but much improved from my first starts
3. Almost got my leg over my head.

- did some leg machines

- ate an A-

- weighed in at 151lbs! The lightest yet so far! I lost 2 lbs this week! What a surprise. I ate badly but I was active so that must have helped.

I didn't meet this month's goal of 150 (though in the morning I may have been) but my birthday didn't totally screw me over so I'm happy.

NEXT MONTH'S GOAL: 146 (1 pound a week)
THIS WEEK'S GOAL: 150lb

Today I will do my pushup challenge and a warmup (whether cardio or sun salutes).

Day 63: Munchies defeated!

Hello!

So yesterday turned out better then expected.

I made my favorite asian mix + tofu + veggies! Perfect for one meal and one lunch (usually better cold).

I....

- 4 sun salutes
-Day 1 Week 3 pushup challenge

I tried to stick to the rest allotments but it was near impossible. But I did it! I did my min max of 25.

- Ate a B (had a few too many biscuits after dinner).


I was a round a lot of people munching and drinking and I prevailed! Didn't have a bite! Tkae that Brantt! ;P

I'm really trying to be extra good due to the past week's transgressions. Plus I have weigh in today.....


I'm a little worried but I think it will still be much better than expected.

Today I'm gonna do some cardio and do yoga.

Day 62: Chugging Along

Ate well yesterday. Went to be early in hopes I would:

a) have more energy
b) resist a late night snack.

Its hard going back to smaller portions but I'm sure I'll be glad for it soon enough... Just need to get through the crankiness.

I ate a B+ yesterday.

So far I've been good.
